An avalanche of books
Eddie and Rufus were very generous today and sent me off down to my favourite bookshop (Planet in Mt Lawley) to choose a few titles. Those gardening sessions I had planned for my holiday might have to be deferred for a while. (The book Rufus is reclining on is called "Zakka Sewing".)

'all families are ...?.....'.
"All Families Are Psychotic", it's a novel by Douglas Coupland - the blurb on the back says it is "A powerful, redemptive story...a book about adults, written by a 40-year-old who has moved beyond any youthful alienation to an appreciation of the complicated nature of what binds people together." And Whoopi Goldberg liked it :-)

Yes, it is a fabulous book, makes me want to take a bunch of coloured pens and spray paint to my walls!
